According to a court filing on Thursday, March 12, 2026, the federal government is building a system to refund approximately $166 billion in tariff collections and is currently between 40% and 80% complete. The online claims portal, through which importers and brokers will be able to submit refund requests, could be operational as early as mid-April. However, several important points remain unclear, including whether the tariff refund process could be slowed down by further litigation. In this call we will discuss the issue and allow time for your questions.
